This Yamaha Model YBH-301M Marching Baritone has 80-85% of the original lacquer and light to medium player wear across the body. It has just come back from being cleaned and adjusted so it plays great.
There are a couple of minor dings in the lead pipe and several small dents on the first bow around the first turn. (see pictures). There is some evidence of a bell dent having being removed from the bell flare. Most of the lacquer wear is in this area (see pictures). The serial number is 006202. The bell reads “Yamaha Established in 1887” and the valve casing reads “Yamaha YBH-301M Made in Japan.“. It comes in the original case, which is in very good condition and with a used Yamaha mouthpiece.
Yamaha marching baritones are one of the most popular marching baritones. They play open, have great action on the valves, and an excellent sound with great projection for the field or parades.
