This Rogers Powertone 5 x 14 Red Onyx Wood Snare Drum 1960’s Serial #17360 was manufactured by Rodgers in Cleveland, Ohio. The overall condition of the drum is very good. There is only one small section of the laminate which has a stress crack and a dime size chip (see pictures). This drum does have all the original beaver tail lugs, butt and snare throw. The top hoop has two tiny bends both to the right and left of the snare throw and non original snare wires. The entire drum has the original gloss coating which is extremely smooth and reflective. This is a super sexy drum!
Badge Type: Rogers Regular OH script logo 1961-1968/69 First appeared in the 1962 catalog and by the 1964 catalog was the only script logo shown. It does have its Powertone Paper Label inside the drum (see pictures).
