1937-1938 Vintage saxophone that has been completely overhauled with our custom vintage lacquer!

 

Description

This King Zephyr Series I Alto Saxophone Serial #209874 is in mint condition. It has been completely overhauled and relaquered with our custom vintage lacquer. It’s darker than most modern lacquers to give the horn a more authentic feel. It has been cleaned, adjusted, and re padded, so it look amazing, and it plays very well. There are no dents or dings on the horn it’s in perfect shape. The serial number is “209874” making this a Zephyr Series I circa 1937-38. The Art Deco engraving on the bell is gorgeous and super crisp. The engraving goes all the way down the bell and the words “King Zephyr Model made by The H.N. White Co Cleveland, Ohio.” are prominently displayed near the top of the bell. This horn comes with the original double socket/sleeve style neck, which is in great shape with no evidence of a pull down. It also comes with the triple neck ring, a signature of the King Zephyr models. It comes in a new replacement case. No mouthpiece is included. This Alto Sax has that classic King Zephyr feel. It’s got a big, focused sound, excellent intonation, and superb overtones.
