Additional Information: The horn plays quite nicely! It has a nice sound to it. There is just something about playing a bell up instrument that has this beautiful open pure sound and that is what you get with this horn!
Instrument Condition: The overall physical condition of this used instrument is good.
Dents: Some dents and dings.
Playing Condition: This instrument is currently in good playing condition.
The Finish: It has approximately 80-85% of the silver finish.
Player Wear: Light general wear (light surface scratches and/or minor dents and dings).
Valve Condition: All the valves are in good working condition and all of the tuning slides are stuck.
Valve Information: The second valve finger button does not match the others. The valves are quick and smooth. On the third valve tuning slide there is some oxidation from previous moisture exposure. It is dry now. The valves have medium to heavy plating wear but are still quick and smooth!
Lead Pipe Condition: Light general wear (light surface scratches and/or minor dents and dings).
Outside Body Bow Condition: Has a light dent in the outside bow and/or a small ding.
The Bell: Minor dents and dings and minor bell edge dents.
Bell Dent Removal/Repair: No evidence.
The Bottom Bow: Has a light dent in the bow guard with a small ding.
The Mouthpiece: No mouthpiece is included, or other accessories.
Re-soldered: The alto horn has several re-solder points. The outside body to the main tuning slide brace on the tuning slide side needs to be re-soldered.
Metal Condition: No broken or patched metal.
The Case: For shipping purposes only. (Not usable) likely the original case.
