Description
This Buffet Crampon Super Dynaction tenor saxophone is in very good condition. This French saxophone was made in Buffet’s Golden Era (the mid-60’s– mid-70’s.) There are some very minor dings on the leg side of the horn. The bell lip on the leg side has a very minor wave to it. Please see pictures for details. The overall lacquer is very good, and it faces up nicely. The serial number on the saxophone is “20596” making this a vintage 1973 saxophone. The engraving on the bell reads “Buffet Crampon Paris France” with scrolling engraved all around the bell and down into the bell. “Super Dynaction” is engraved on the back of the body below the neck strap ring. This tenor saxophone has the classic “BC” black bell to body brace. All key guards and rollers are original. The original neck has no evidence of pull down and the saddle has been re-soldered with light lacquer burning at the saddle. The case is original and is in older used condition. No mouthpiece is included. A good used wooden neck plug is included. The overall action on this horn is very quick.

The Finish: It has approximately 85-90% of the lacquered finish.
Player Wear: Light general wear (possible surface scratches and/or minor dents/dings).
The Bell: Minor dents and dings and minor bell edge damage.
The Bow: Very light ding in the bottom bow or bow guard.
Pad Condition: The pads are in combination of newer and older used condition.
Resonator Type: Combination of metal and plastic resonators.
The Neck: The neck has approximately 85-90% of the finish remaining with light general wear (possible surface scratches and/or minor dents/dings). The saddle has been resoldered and the lacquer is a little burned from where they resoldered it.
The Mouthpiece: No mouthpiece, ligature, or accessories are included. A good used wooden neck plug is included.
The Case: Older used condition (Still usable but significant signs of physical wear).
Engraving: Buffet Crampon Paris France (on the bell) Super Dynaction (up the back of the body) BC (on the bell to body brace).
