This Gretsch 8 x 15 Walnut wood snare drum is in excellent condition. The octagon badge was only produced between 1972 and 1979. The model is 4192. The wood finish on the drum is almost perfect with the exception of a small spot where an identification number was scratched into the shell. This could be removed but for the purpose of leaving the drum as original as possible it has been left. It has a replacement fiberboard case. It has an incredibly unique and rare original snare throw which uses a metal band on a leaver to create the tension for the snare.
The overall physical condition of this used drum is excellent.
